We envision a world in which trans people do not have to choose between visibility and safety.
We are proud to be trans. Our existence proves that the way things are is not the way they have to be.
We have always been here. But for a long time, we have faced hardship from a society that has not understood or recognized us.
In 2009, we began celebrating Trans Day of Visibility. Although public awareness has increased since then, so has hostility from a vocal minority.
This year, we ask you to join us on March 30 for the first Trans Day of Vision. We see a better world on the horizon. Can you see it too?
Don't just look at us—look with us.
